During a hike in Zermatt, my wife and I walked along a narrow path beside a deep abyss. The landscape was peaceful yet powerful, with the turquoise water below creating a strong contrast against the rough terrain. The scene felt quiet and almost unreal, as if we were standing on the edge of something infinite, I wish I could go back!

How was it taken?

This image was captured using infrared photography with an IR Chrome filter, which gives the scene its unique colors. I combined several vertical shots to create a panoramic view, capturing the vastness of the abyss and the landscape around it. The IR Chrome filter lets the camera see beyond the normal light spectrum, turning the water a glowing turquoise and transforming the green color of all organic matter into beautiful red/orange tones.
