During my time in Camargue, I was profoundly touched by the bond between the people and their majestic horses. For days, I immersed myself in capturing the essence of these magnificent creatures. This image portrays a breathtaking scene of white horses galloping through water, their motion blurred to create a dreamlike, ethereal effect. The splashing water adds a dynamic, almost magical element, highlighting the untamed and free spirit of the horses. About The Artist
Born in 1979 in Istanbul, Masis Usenmez is a photographer of Armenian origin from Turkey who has achieved remarkable success in the NFT space and digital art. Since late 2017, he has been living in Rennes, France. He graduated with a degree in economics from Yildiz Technical University in 2000 and earned an MBA from Istanbul University in 2002. Rediscovering his childhood passion for photography in his early 30s, Masis pursued further education in the field, completing an undergraduate degree in Photography at Anadolu University in 2013 and a Master of Photography at Marmara University in 2019. Masis's work has earned him numerous accolades. He was a finalist in the AI category in Optimism's "We Love The Art," a recipient of the Celo Grant, and a recognized artist in Avaissance S2. He has competed in many competitions, gaining over 300 acceptances and medals, and has showcased his work in exhibitions across Turkey, Europe, and the USA. His contributions to the field have been honored with the EFIAP degree from FIAP. Known for his street and documentary photography, Masis's images evoke a surreal, timeless quality. He loves to focus on textures, shapes, and patterns in his art. His use of light and shadow is a distinctive feature of his work, often playing a crucial role in his compositions. Masis continues to push the boundaries of his craft, blending traditional photography techniques with the innovative world of NFTs and digital art.
