Inner Frog

There’s always been a frog inside me. No noble prince bullshit—just a cold-blooded, ugly thing, sitting in the muck, waiting. Sometimes it croaks, like it’s got something to say about the way things really are, but mostly it just watches. Watches the world drift by, watches me screw up, watches me drag myself through another day. And just when I think I’m close—close to understanding something, to getting anywhere—it croaks, low and hard, reminding me: We're all just frogs, stuck in the filth, waiting for a jump that'll never come. Executed by Mannay (2024). Physical details: A2 Pigment print on Archival Paper (Hahnemühle Museum Etching - 350gsm), signed and dated. Dimensions: 420 mm x 594 mm (16.5 x 23.4 inches)
