Ovie Mac Solomon is a Nigerian Art Director, Graphic Designer, and Artist. He specializes in creating compelling artworks and visual identities for vibrant brands, merchandise, and products. As a kid, he was fascinated by 90s magazine covers, this influence is evident in his use of subdued colors, traditional patterns, and distressed textures to invoke feelings of Nostalgia. His art manifests in different styles and forms—often using typography and touching on themes like interpersonal relationships, identity conflicts, beauty, and lifestyle. He is focused on sharing art that shows his heritage, childhood obsessions, and struggles as a youth. In 2022, he played a pivotal role in the NFT collection "AFROTROVES," which launched on Opensea and garnered attention on prominent NFT platforms like OkayAfrica. This project aimed to redefine the narratives surrounding Africa’s stolen sacred artifacts from years ago.
