Karting
Erik Bulckens
When Marcel started his journey as a forensic expert, he suddenly had to learn a new skill (besides knowing how to determine the actual cause of an accident): photography. He was in a 'photography club' for a short while learning the basics of lighting, camera use, framing. This was a photo he took at a local karting race, experimenting with framing and shutter speed. These races would be organised in the city centres. Safety was not that much of an issue back in the days and I live how these old school karts and helmets had a crazy vive. In his later photographs, outside the By Accident archive, I couldn't find a lot of interesting ones as he was less meticulous or maybe less focused in real life.
